Sleepless in San Diego

*Vent*
Sleep always seems to evade me. It teases me. It diminishes my energy, and makes me truly exhausted but it never allows me to take it easily. I've always had a difficult time getting to sleep, and staying asleep. I toss and turn for what seems like hours each night trying to turn my brain off and go to sleep.
I've tried natural sleep aids but they don't work. I have also been on prescription sleeping pills and those worked but I became dependent on them and poor Daniel had to babysit me when I took them till at least 30 minutes after I truly fell asleep. I had some "bad" side effects which didn't really bother me but I didn't like being dependent on them so I weened myself off.

Aww look at my sweet guys!
I think that made my lack of sleep totally worth it.

With that I'm off to chase after sleep now, maybe I will catch him quickly tonight.

  1. I know how you feel. My husband is an amazing sleeper, always has been. He is out no more than 5 minutes after we turn off the light. I, however, since I was a kid lay awake for at least an hour every single time unable to fall asleep. I frequently wake up and have to start the process over numerous times in the night-so I rarely if ever feel rested. I've tried OTC and Rx meds but same thing, didn't want to get dependent on them. Have you noticed it to be worse with the clomid though? It seems that on top of it makes it worse. But I agree, looking over and seeing your kitty and husband always makes it better=)

  2. You know it doesn't really seem worse with the clomid, except during the 2WW this last cycle. I was up till 3AM and would wake at 6AM for at least an hour and then I would fall asleep for a couple hours again.
